Clubs and Activities
(Please note, Students are entitled to join extra curricular activities at their home base schools while attending GBCS)
Our philosophy is that we want to make our students’ experiences at school to be as personalized and meaningful as possible. Clubs and Activities are an important part of a student’s experience, creating social, enriching opportunities to supplement their academic program. Our small size and the distance some students travel to school can be somewhat limiting on the types and frequency of club/activity time spent outside of school hours, but all students are welcome and encouraged to participate.
If we don’t currently offer a club, we encourage students to propose ideas and we’ll try to make it happen for them. This happens each year!
A sample of the Clubs and Activities anticipated for this school year include:
Dungeons and Dragons, Remote Controlled Vehicles, Volleyball, “Movie of the Month” Club, Running Club/ Girls On The Run, Student Council, Student Advisory Council, Art and Social Club, Yoga and many other student led ones!
